Jerri Jerreat writes from Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee territory. Her fiction has appeared in Grist: Imagine (2022 collection) online, Fairlight Books, Fictive Dreams, Onyx Publications, Flyway: Journal of Writing & Environment, Feminine Collective, The Yale Review Online, The New Quarterly, The Antigonish Review, Dalhousie Review, Penmen Review, and others. Social justice and environmental themes infiltrate her writing. Solarpunk (eco fiction) stories have also been published in anthologies "Solarpunk Creatures," "Glass and Gardens: Solarpunk Summers", "Solarpunk Winters", (World Weaver Press), and are upcoming in "Through the Portal: Hopeful Dystopias" (Exile Editions) and in "Solarpunk" (Flame Tree Press). An Ontario paddler, she has lived in Vancouver, Victoria, Ottawa and in Tuebingen. She lives now on an ancient seabed near Katarokwi, (Kingston), Ontario with her partner.
