“The List of Things That Will Not Change” by Rebecca Stead.
Deep, funny, sweet, believable. The voice of the young narrator is as authentic as Scout in “To Kill a Mockingbird”. This is a lighter tale, but reaches deep. (Could I please book an appointment with Miriam?)
A duology for fantasy lovers! Original and unpredicable like a passing of the Wild Hunt overhead. Enjoy!
